Friends of Rothwell Schools (FORS)
Friends of Rothwell Schools (FORS) is our dedicated parent and community fundraising group. As a registered charity, FORS works closely with the school to help make Rothwell Schools the best possible learning environment for all children.
FORS is made up of a committee and a wider group of parents, grandparents and supporters who generously give their time, ideas and expertise throughout the year. Everyone is welcome to get involved, whether by attending meetings, helping at events or supporting fundraising activities.
What Does FORS Do?
Throughout the year, FORS raises money to help provide resources and opportunities that are not normally covered by the school budget.
Current fundraising projects include:
- New IT equipment
- An outdoor shelter
- A new PA system
Every contribution helps make a difference to the children across Rothwell Schools.
How Can You Help?
There are lots of ways to support FORS, including:
- Attending meetings
- Helping at cake sales
- Volunteering at fundraising events
- Sharing ideas and expertise
- Supporting activities when time allows
Whether you can offer a few hours or help throughout the year, all support is greatly appreciated.
