School Meals

We offer a selection of hot and packed lunch options each day through our catering provider, Dolce. Menus are updated regularly and meals can be ordered up until 8.30am on the day.

Meals are available to children in Years 3 to 6 at a cost of £2.55 per day. Alternatively, children may bring a packed lunch from home.

Please remember that Rothwell Schools is a nut-free school.

Free School Meals

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal through the Government's Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme.

Children in receipt of Pupil Premium are entitled to free school meals throughout all school years.

We strongly encourage families to check whether they may be eligible, as school funding is partly based on the number of children who qualify.

Snacks

Infant School

We participate in the Government's Free Fruit and Vegetable Scheme and all children receive either a piece of fruit or a vegetable each day.

Children in Nursery and Reception also receive additional food and drinks as part of their provision.

Junior School

Children in Key Stage 2 may bring a healthy snack for morning break.

Suitable snacks include:

• Dried fruit
• Vegetables
• Cheese/yogurt

All children should bring a named water bottle to school each day.
