When your child first starts Nursery, we want them to feel happy, comfortable and secure in their new environment. To help with this, children are invited to attend a number of shorter settling-in sessions before starting their regular Nursery sessions. These arrangements may vary from year to year, and full details will be shared with you by email or letter.

Following these initial visits, your child will then be invited to attend their full Nursery session. We understand that every child is different, so for those who may need a more gradual transition, the induction period or session lengths can be adjusted in discussion with parents and carers.

The earliest you can register your child for a Nursery place is the September after their first birthday. To register your child, please contact the Infant School Office by phone or email. Applications can be made at any time after this date.

All applications should be made directly through the Infant School Office. Please note that proof of address and your child's birth certificate will be required when registering.

Stay and Play Sessions  

• Children who are joining us in September are invited, along with their parents/carers, to a stay and play session before they are due to start Nursery.  This date will be advertised on our website and information about these sessions will be sent home to you via letter or email.
